The thing about advice is… “seemingly” everyone has some. Most people seem to give it in abundance. Special note: there is a difference between advice and opinion. If someone has real experience in the subject/topic they are advising on then they have some credibility/merit (assuming you’re checking references). Keep in mind we humans gain our experience through trial and error. Any sound advisor would most likely tell you that you’ll need to forge your own path and make your own wonderful mistakes in order to learn what works for you – while sprinkling in a little advice here and there of course. Some things can be learned without experience, but only experience will teach you what needs to be lived. At the end of the day you should always be a seeker of knowledge and you need to have the courage to keep swinging until you knock it out of the park.
